Application Checklist

January 14*, 2011  Application deadline for all students

*Applications are accepted after the deadline, as space permits. Please contact the admission office for more details.

March 11, 2011  Admission decisions are mailed to applicants

March 25, 2011  Accepted students must confirm enrollment by returning a contract and nonrefundable initial tuition payment

• Submit application* (online or paper) and the $100 application fee to Hillcrest admission office 

• Return completed parent questionnaire to Hillcrest admission office 

• Include small photo of applicant (optional)

• Required Testing

  •  Pre-kindergarten – Individual observations are performed by Parish teachers to determine applicants' readiness for Parish.  Screening dates are scheduled on selected weekdays and Saturdays.  The admission office will notify you of your evaluation date and time. 

  • Kindergarten - Please contact CATS directly to schedule your required testing (www.catstexas.com or 214.221.7220).  Students are also required to take a standardized test.  The admission office will notify you of your testing date and time. 

  • 1^st Grade – Please contact CATS directly to schedule your required testing (www.catstexas.com or 214.221.7220).  Students are also required to take a standardized test. Parish accepts shared testing from other ISAAD schools for 1^st grade applicants. However, applicants who do not test at Parish are required to visit  for a half-day. The admission office will contact you to schedule a visit date.

• Sign the teacher evaluation and give it to your child’s current teacher to complete and return directly to Parish.

• Submit records release form to your child's current school (if applicable)

• Schedule required testing with Parish admission office which will be offered in January 2011.  Applicants may test at any ISAS school that is participating in common testing.

• Contact Parish admission office to schedule a half-day visit to Parish.

• Please sign the teacher evaluation and give it to your child’s current teacher to complete and return directly to Parish.

• Complete records release form and submit to your child's current school.

• Return completed parent questionnaire to admission office

• Return completed student questionnaire to admission office

• Include small photo of applicant (optional)

• Schedule required testing at www.iseetest.org, or complete the ISEE registration form found in the center of the ISEE testing booklet and return the  form and fee to the ISEE Operations Office. Applicants may test at any of the locations listed in the ISEE 2010-2011 Student Guide. Be sure to request that the ISEE scores be sent to Parish Episcopal School. The school code for Parish Episcopal School is 447526.

• Contact Parish admission office to schedule a half-day visit/interview.

• Sign the teacher evaluation and give it to your child’s current teacher to complete and return directly to Parish.

• Complete records release form and submit to your child's current school.
