Pi Day (5th - 12th grades)

Location: Midway Campus

Wear your Pi Day t-shirt with uniform bottom today

On Friday, March 12 we are celebrating Pi Day early at Parish (Pi-Day is usually celebrated 3-14). Pi Day is celebrated by math enthusiasts around the world as it also corresponds with Albert Einstein's birthday on March 14. The Upper School Mu Alpha Theta students will be visiting math classes in grades 5th - 7th to do Pi-Day activities. Students in 5th - 12th grades who have purchased a Pi-day t-shirt may wear it with their uniform bottoms. In addition to fostering enthusiasm for math, Mu Alpha Theta is trying to raise money so they can sponsor a Math Fun day or MathCounts team at an underserved school in Dallas.
