2007 Cheerleading Camp
The 7th and 8th grade squad and the Varsity went to NCA cheerleading camp at SMU June 9-12. There the squads worked on cheers, chants, stunting, dancing, jumps, leadership, and motion technique. Both squads received 4 blue ribbons for their excellence in cheers and chants as well as bids to the NCA National Competition!! The squads also took home the coveted NCA Spirit Stick.
We also had a very special individual award. Judy Weech, also team captain for the 7th and 8th grade squad, was chosen by the NCA Staff to be apart of their ALL- AMERICAN TEAM. Because this camp was the biggest and had the best talent, this process was very strict and each girl that made it had to meet very stringent criteria. GO JUDY!!!!!!!!
